What is Dino Rampage?

Dino Rampage starts exactly like the classic Dinosaur Game: a grey T-Rex, a desert and the first cactus. Then the desert fills up. Boulders roll toward you, meteors fall from the sky, pits open in the ground and pterodactyls come at three different heights.

This time the dinosaur is not defenceless. It can bite whatever is right in front of it, spit fireballs, and eat meat to fill a rage meter. When the meter is full, the T-Rex goes on a rampage and smashes through everything for a few seconds.

Attacks

Bite. A quick snap that destroys a pterodactyl, a small cactus or a small enemy right in front of the T-Rex. It needs a moment to recover between bites.
Fireball. The T-Rex spits a fireball that flies forward and destroys the first thing it hits. Ammo is limited, so pick up refills on the way.
Eat. Run into meat to eat it. Every bite of meat gives points and fills the rage meter.
Rampage. With a full rage meter the dinosaur flashes, runs faster and destroys everything it touches for a few seconds.

Power-ups

Meat: points and rage.
Fireball ammo: refills your shots.
Egg: a big bonus of points.
Shield: absorbs one hit.
Magnet: pulls nearby items toward you.
Clock: slows time down for a few seconds.

Destroy or eat several things in a row to raise the combo multiplier: x2, x3 and higher. The multiplier applies to all bonus points until the chain breaks.

Tips for a high score

Save fireballs for tall cacti
Small things can be bitten for free. Tall cacti cannot be bitten, so keep a few shots for them or jump.

Watch for shadows
A meteor shows its shadow on the ground before it lands. Do not stand where the shadow is when it hits.

Keep the combo going
Bite and eat in quick succession. A high multiplier turns a few bonuses into hundreds of points.

Use the rampage wisely
Let the rage meter fill before a busy stretch, then plough through it instead of jumping.
